Das Films was established in 2007 by producer Sriram Das. With a significant development fund, the company has acquired more than 20 high-profile projects, each with a strong, built-in audience. Our experienced executives collaborate with the industry's foremost writers and directors to develop these properties and package them with financially significant talent and strategic sales and distribution agreements, protecting and maximizing the value of each film.

Recent projects include THE NOVEMBER MAN, directed by Roger Donaldson and starring Pierce Brosnan, which was distributed by Relativity Media; INTO THE FOREST which premiered at the Toronto International and Pusan film festivals and was acquired for US release by A24; and SOME KIND OF BEAUTIFUL, which was released domestically by Lionsgate and stars PierceBrosnan, Salma Hayek and Jessica Alba. Das Films is currently wrapped on THE BLEEDER, directed by Philippe Falardeau and starring Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts. The company is also in production on Heartbeats, written and directed by Duane Adler.

The company's first film, VERONIKA DECIDES TO DIE, directed by Emily Young and starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, was produced in 2008. Prior to starting Das Films, Sriram executive produced PREMIUM, starring Hill Harper, Zoe Saldana, and Dorian Missick, which was released by Universal in 2007.
